Meet Our Owner
Frank McCafferty, the owner of lovemypics, has been a landscape photographer for over 5 years. More than 3 years ago, he ventured into wedding photography. He has been a keen photographer for many years and it became natural for him to be ‘The Photographer’ at any and every event.
As time went by, people chose him to photograph their kids, attend their wedding and shoot images at parties so he decided to start his own company. While his main interest is in landscape photography, he truly enjoys shooting family portraits as well. He particularly enjoys capturing families’ timeless moments forever and seeing the faces of Mum, Dad or Gran when they receive the images.
Education and Experience
He attended the Glasgow College of Building and Printing to study and achieve a National Certificate in Photography. Additionally, he supplemented this by attending a 4-day one-to-one tuition with Dreghorn Photography.
His photographs have been printed in Scotland’s National Press and magazines, as well as The Sunday Post, Historic Scotland Brochure and Sunday Mail (Scotland). He also currently has five prints on exhibit in the Glad Café Glasgow.
In winter of 2016, he sold 4,000 calendars featuring 12 of his best landscape images to raise funds for cancer research via the Strathcarron Hospice in Denny, Stirlingshire. He has also created large prints of the Kelpie Horses and The Helix (Falkirk), which were endorsed and signed by the creator, Andy Scott.
A Passion for Photography
Frank is a dad and granddad, and has two sisters and two brothers. He is happy and lucky enough to have been brought up to respect and treat everyone equally and extends these values toward his clients. The nature of his job involves interaction with people, which is something he loves, and he always strives to give his best services every time.
